The 500-Mile Club
At the start of this year, a colleague put out a challenge to our group to run 500-miles this year. Or as we call it, “The 500-Mile Club.”
I must admit, following my colleagues workout logs has definitely been a major source of competition, I mean motivation.
We’ve been tracking our miles on running-log.com, and with yesterday’s run, I passed the 500-mile mark!
While my log reads 520.49 mi, 19 of those are elliptical miles logged. Those don’t count so I didn’t really reach the milestone until I surpassed 519 running miles.
Having run a total of 466.37 miles last year (per Garmin Connect report), I’m pretty stoked to have passed last year’s mileage at about the mid-way point this year!
And as of yesterday, running-log predicts that my annual mileage will be 933.29 mi, which is almost exactly double last year’s total. Kinda crazy, huh?
