Chip Chip Hooray!
Tonight I realized that it’s my second to the last night here in Vancouver. And it made me sad. It means that I’ll be leaving my best friend, Chip.
Anyone who knows my family knows that Chip is pretty much the center of our world. Dinner conversations have been devoted entirely on him.
He’s a funny little pup:
- He wears his emotions easily – by the look in his eyes and the position of his ears.
- He can’t run straight.
- He doesn’t like it when people wrestle or spar. He’ll go on a barking spree to break up anything that seems like a “fight.”
- He has his own Facebook account.
- He doesn’t like to be alone.
- He LOVES Christmas presents.
- And can do tricks for treats!
Because of the weather, and everything going, the poor thing has been cooped up in the house more than he would like. He has the worst cabin fever.
Since he can’t go out much, he spends his time curled up in his favorite Christmas present.
Love you Chippy!

To all of you who have sent words of encouragement and checked in on my Mom, I’m happy to report that she was moved out of ICU and continues to make progress! Every good thought and prayer helps. Thanks to you all!
