its likely we all have lost someone we know or know of to breast cancer. four years ago i did the avon walk for breast cancer and raised $2K in memory of my aunty tani who died of breast cancer in 2002. since then, i've kind of adopted it as my "charity of choice."

october is breast cancer awareness month. if diagnosed and treated early, the survival rate is really high (i can't remember what the exact percentage is). anyway, i think its something we all need to be aware of.

i came across this foundation in a magazine. i thought it was so cute and catchy so i'm sharing it with all of you. spread the word.
