Why I Blog

snowqueen I started a blogging a couple of years ago, before my Europe adventure. The blog was a great way to share my experiences with my family and friends. After the trip was over, I just kept it up, writing about random things.

This past June I decided I wanted to learn how to build a web site from scratch - completely from ground up. So I started this blog that you're reading now, buying the domain name, setting up the web hosting, etc, etc. I had a lot of fun creating it and have gained a lot valuable experience that I can put on my resume.

My two favorite things are working out (eating healthy falls into this category) and the San Francisco Giants, so I decided to mostly focus on writing about those two things. Every now and then I'll throw in a random post about a topic I like.

Last night, as I was cleaning off some files on my laptop, I pulled up my first blog and starting reading through some of the posts. Now this is why I blog - to capture my memories and experiences. I had so much fun going back and reading through old posts. They took me back to the very moment that it happened.
